July is finally here, and you know what that means... It's summer time!Many of you have been so patient with me, waiting on edge for the next book in the series. I do hope to have more news for you soon, but at this time, the third book is still under beta reader review.It is possible that the third installment in "The Spirit World" Series will be released this month. Only time will tell. When the time is right, I will let you all know when it is released. I'll even talk to the betas and see who is ok with having me give them a shout out for their hard work.

As the title implies for this post. I have both sad news and happy news to share with many of you.For those of you that enjoy writing, I was trying to be a part of this years NaNoWriMo. Also known as National November Writing Month. A time where one takes part in an internet challenge to write 50,000 words in 30 days. Well, this year the Https://nanowrimo.org site shut down its forums and is riddled with unprofessionalism concerning many grave and heavy topics.It saddens me that this org does not seem to be working well with the community it has tried to create for years and these many problems have caused so much pain and suffering for many. Therefore, my conscious would feel better knowing I did what I could to spread this warning around to anyone 13+ thinking of joining, and even to those that have seen everything going on, to just abandon ship.
Halloween is coming soon, and ghouls, ghosts, and goblins will wander the streets with us humans. Do not fear though, as when the night is over, the children will reappear. Happy as can be and baskets full of candy.No matter what you chose for a costume this year, just remember we are dressing up as other people, beasts and monsters for a short time. Similar to reading about these same types in books.
In life, we see it all the time. It's not just the seasons that change from day to day, but the trials and appointments, schedules and time available. As the new school year starts, and doctor appointments are made and concluded, Pandora Night continues to do everything she can as a mother first, and as a writer second.
Despite life becoming quite hectic, I wanted to reach out to those that read the updates section for news about me. Yes, in April of this year I experienced a miscarrage. Life afterwards had gotten hectic, chaotic, stressful, and emotional. With help from friends and family, my family has been healing from the unexpected loss of a child. With time, came healing. We will never forget the child that was taken long before his time, but we cannot remain in the darkness of grief.
I am making this post to inform everyone of a terrible loss. Grief is strong and has placed further delays on future book releases for the time being.
A long awaited update for many of you. Thank you for being patient with me, as I figure a way to get back to writing. I have some exciting news for you!I, Pandora Night, am taking part in an event known as Camp NaNoWriMo. It is a month long camp where one can make their own word count goals and have until the month to complete those goals. It is a good way to get back in the saddle for when the national event happens in November. There are two camps a year before NaNoWriMo actually happens, and the first camp happens in April.I am working on the third book in the Spirit World series for the month of April, in hopes to get more progress made towards a first draft. It may be awhile yet before I release a published version, but I will do what I can to ensure I give updates on the progress without giving away spoilers. Thank you everyone for being patient, kind, and encouraging with my journey to write the third book.
